Pray Unceasingly
“I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.” (Ezekiel 22:30, NIV)
God is actively seeking individuals who will intercede for the revival of nations, including Israel. He does not take pleasure in the death of the wicked. Ezekiel 18:23 (NLT) tells us, “Do you think that I like to see wicked people die? says the Sovereign LORD. Of course not! I want them to turn from their wicked ways and live.”
Though He is a God of Justice, what He truly wants is redemption. This is why He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross to save us from our sins.
God is a God of love! That is Who He is!
The nation of Israel is specifically mentioned because the roots of our faith lie in that nation. Our Lord Jesus, when He came to Earth, was a Jew. The authors of the biblical books were all Jews as well. The first revival began in the Upper Room in Jerusalem and spread throughout the world, as described in the Book of Acts. Now, it is our time to support Israel and pray for its people to accept Jesus as the only Messiah.
Psalm 122:6 (ESV) states, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! May they be secure who love you!" Furthermore, Psalm 102:13 (NIV) reminds us, "You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come." And God’s promise to Abraham still stands to this day when He said, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you” (Genesis 12:3, NIV).
Intercession paves the way for a sinner to turn from their wicked ways and turn to the Lord, and it changes the course of a nation for the better.
History belongs to the intercessors!
In this light, we would like to invite you to join our team, both online and on-site, in interceding for the nations.
