THE 12 BEATITUDES OF JESUS
Around a year ago, on November 3, 2024, as I was half asleep and half awake during a nap, the Holy Spirit spoke to me. He said, "If you will teach the 12 Beatitudes, I will bless you."
At first, I was doubtful because, for generations, we have believed there are only 8 or 9 (probably even 10) Beatitudes. But I gave it a shot. Eventually, I discovered that there were really 12 Beatitudes. You can find the 9 in Matthew 5:3-12, and 4 of them are presented in Luke 6:20-23.
The 3 Beatitudes in Luke 6:20-21 may look the same as the 3 Beatitudes in Matthew 5:3, 6, and 4 (in order of the 3 Beatitudes in Luke 6:20-21), but their meanings are completely different from the 3 Beatitudes in Matthew in the original Greek translation. However, the last or the fourth Beatitude in Luke 6:22-23 is basically the same in meaning as the Beatitude in Matthew 5:11-12. So, yes, all in all, the Beatitudes are 12. The Holy Spirit was right. And He is always right. He knows the Bible more than any man knows it, as He was the One Who inspired human authors to write its content.
